The University's packing list for the 2021-2022 school year can be found here, with a list of what you can and cannot bring to campus. Please note that there are several stores in the greater South Bend area where you can purchase any items that you may forget to bring with you, and that there are free shuttle services from campus. If you're planning to ship items to campus ahead of you, you can start shipping items one week before your scheduled move-in date. More information about on-campus mail services can be found either on our "About" page or at this link.
In the "Gallery" section of our website, you can view some of our student rooms. While we do not have pictures of every room, this gallery can be helpful as you try to plan for your first room in Farley! Please feel free to reach out to a member of Hall Staff or of the St. Andre Committee with further questions or concerns.
A key move-in item for 2021 will be a fan; Farley hall does not have air-conditioning, and it will get hot when you're moving your items up the stairs and into your new room. Additional suggestions from past and present students are below; keep in mind that these are just recommendations (you and your roommate might not need a TV, for example), and that there will always be time to shop in the local community if you find you've forgotten something you need!
Room Items:

TV (lounges have TVs with a cable, but individual student rooms do not have cables)
